Do drop-in matches count towards your Pro Clubs stats?

Every tracker reads the same club endpoints, and those endpoints know three kinds of fixture. A drop-in belongs to no club, so it arrives in none of them.

Measured hereUpdated 24 August 2026 · from 415 archived players

3
fixture types EA will answer for

League, playoff and friendly. Ask for a fourth kind and the request fails, so every tracker you have used is working from the same three.

What EA will answer for

Club match history is fetched one club at a time. The request carries a club id and a fixture type, and the type has to be one of league, playoff or friendly, because EA rejects everything else outright. Ten matches come back at most. Every paging parameter anybody has tried is ignored, so the eleventh match does not exist as far as the outside world is concerned.

That shape is the whole of what a stats site starts from. Anything deeper is history somebody stored while it was still being served.

A drop-in has no club to ask about

The request needs a club id. In a drop-in you are lent to a side that was assembled for one match and stops existing when it ends, and no id was ever issued for it. So the question a tracker knows how to ask has no subject.

This is worth being blunt about, because the usual explanation is that trackers are lazy or that one of them has better access. None of them do. Every site reads the same public endpoints, and those endpoints have no drop-in shaped hole to look into.

What it means for the figures on this site

The rating distribution here rests on 415 archived players, and every appearance behind it arrived inside a club fixture. When a percentile on this site says you are ahead of most people, it means most people in club matches. Your drop-in hat-trick is in none of it.

Players with at least three full matches of stored history. Rebuilt daily, so the count grows as the archive does.

Friendlies are the fixture that goes missing

Friendlies do count, and they are the ones most likely to be absent from a tracker. EA puts them behind their own request, so a site spends a third call per club to see them. Most clubs have never played one. Asking for every club would burn a large share of a daily request budget on an empty answer, which is why nobody asks by default.

Here the rule is evidence based. Once a club has been seen playing a friendly it gets asked from then on, and a club where somebody has claimed their pro gets asked from the start. If your club plays friendly nights and they keep vanishing, claiming your pro is the thing that fixes it.

When a whole night is missing

Work through the ordinary causes before assuming something broke. Did the club play more than ten league games that evening? The early ones fell out of EA’s window and are gone for good. Was the night friendlies? Then it landed only if something asked for friendlies. Was it drop-ins? It was never available.

Matches also arrive late. EA tends to publish a fixture hours after it finished, so a night that looks empty at midnight often fills in by morning.

What this page will not tell you

Whether EA folds your drop-in games into your pro’s own career screen inside the game. EA has published nothing about it, and none of the endpoints a site can read carry an answer. Anybody stating it flatly is guessing, and a guess dressed as a measurement is the one thing this site refuses to print.

What is certain is narrower and more useful: if you want a match on a tracker, play it for a club.

Questions people ask

Do drop-in matches show up on a Pro Clubs tracker?
No. EA serves club match history one club at a time, and the request carries a fixture type: league, playoff or friendly. Any other value comes back as an error. A drop-in is played by a team that is not a club, so there is nothing to ask for.
Are drop-in appearances in the percentiles on this site?
No. The rating distribution here rests on 415 archived players, and every appearance behind it came out of a club fixture EA returned. You are being compared with club football only.
Do friendlies count towards your Pro Clubs stats?
Yes, and they are the fixture most likely to be missing from a tracker. EA puts them on a separate request, so a site has to spend a call asking. Most clubs have never played one, which is why nobody asks by default.
Why is a whole night missing from my club history?
Two ordinary causes come before a bug. EA returns at most ten matches per fixture type and ignores every paging parameter, so a long evening pushes the early games out of reach; and a night of friendlies only lands if something asked for friendlies.
Does EA count drop-in games towards my pro in the game itself?
EA has published nothing about it, and the endpoints a site can read carry no answer either way. Anybody telling you for certain is guessing, and this page will not join them.
