How many crosses per game is good in Pro Clubs?
EA counts your crosses and then throws the number away. It survives in the per-match counters, which is the only reason a distribution for it can be printed anywhere.
Measured hereUpdated 16 August 2026
Decoded from the per-match counters. EA publishes no cross total anywhere, so this distribution exists here and in no other tracker.
The game counts them and then forgets
Look at the post-match screen and your crosses are there. Leave the lobby and they are gone. Nothing on the player card holds them, nothing in the season totals does, and the endpoint a tracker reads has no column for them at all.
What every match does carry is a block of numbered counters EA labels nowhere, and one of those numbers is a cross. Four of them have been checked against the game’s own screen: interceptions, dribbles, second assists and this. Storing the block before it rotates away is the whole trick.
The whole distribution
Every measured player, sorted. The right column is a rate per 90 minutes and the left is the share of players you are ahead of if you hold it.
Built from the archived players whose matches arrived with counters. Rebuilt daily.
Split by position
Not enough archived players carry a position yet for this split. It fills in as clubs get looked up.
Nobody counts whether it arrived
There is no cross completion figure in Pro Clubs. None on the screen, none in the data, none anywhere a tracker can reach — so a cross that curled onto a head and a cross that hit the first defender are the same event in this distribution. That makes the axis a volume stat, exactly like shots, with the same failure mode: the biggest number on the board often belongs to the player having the worst night.
A high count is usually the pitch talking. Wide is where the ball goes when the middle is shut, so a winger facing a deep block will cross more than the same winger facing an open one, and neither figure says which of them played better.
What to check it against
Put it next to your assists. Many crosses and few assists means the deliveries are not being met, and the answer is a different pass rather than more of the same one — cut inside, take the shorter ball, wait for a second body in the box. Few crosses and a healthy assist rate is a winger who has already worked that out.
Worth saying plainly: a low number here is not a flaw. A wide player who comes inside to combine will sit near the bottom of this table and can still be the best attacker in the club.
Why fewer players are ranked on this
The counters do not arrive on every match. Some rows come back without a block this runtime can read, and a match that sent nothing is not a match in which nobody crossed — it is a match nobody counted. Those two things look identical once they are added up, which is why they are kept apart.
So a player the archive has never measured is left out of this ranking rather than placed at the floor of it. That costs the distribution some players and it keeps the figure honest, which is the right way round. The same rule governs dribbles, interceptions and second assists.
Questions people ask
- How many crosses per game is good in Pro Clubs?
- Not enough archived players carry the match counters yet to answer that honestly.
- Does EA track crosses in Pro Clubs?
- Not in anything it publishes. No cross total sits on the player card, in the season figures or in the match summary. The count is in the block of numbered counters that arrives with each match, and decoding those is what puts this axis on the page — one of four checked against the game’s own post-match screen.
- Is a high cross count good in Pro Clubs?
- On its own it is neither. Crossing is what the pitch leaves you when the middle is shut, so a big number often describes the defence you played rather than the winger you are. Read it beside assists: plenty of crosses and few assists means the deliveries are not being met, and the fix is a different pass rather than more of the same one.
