Can you reset your build in FC 27 Pro Clubs?

The points come back. That means a build you regret is a reset away rather than a season away, and it changes how carefully you need to spend early.

All of them
how many spent Attribute Points a reset returns

The points come back to your wallet. Your level does not go anywhere, and that is the part people get wrong before they refuse to experiment at all.

What a reset does

An Archetype Reset returns every Attribute Point you have spent on that Archetype, and you redistribute them from scratch. Nothing about the level you reached is undone. A reset is a rearrangement, not a punishment, and it is worth knowing that before you spend three months playing a build you stopped enjoying in October.

That matters most for anybody who followed a build guide at launch. The cost of having been wrong is one reset, not a season, and the people telling you a build is ruined forever are describing a game that does not work this way.

It is not free

Resetting goes through Clubs Coins or a Reset consumable. So it is available rather than unlimited, and it is worth spending on a decision you have thought about instead of a weekly rearrangement of the same points.

Plan the destination before you reset. Getting the points back and then placing them almost exactly where they were is the most common way to waste one, and it happens constantly.

Resetting is not switching Archetype

These two get confused constantly and they are different operations. A reset moves points around inside the Archetype you already levelled. Switching Archetype puts you on a different build at whatever level that one has reached, which is usually the bottom.

Your Signature PlayStyle belongs to the Archetype as well, so switching swaps it and a reset does not. If the reason you want a change is that the Signature PlayStyle does not suit how you play, no amount of moving points will fix it. That is a switch.

The same goes for Key Attributes. They are set by the Archetype, so if you are fighting the cost curve on every upgrade, you are on the wrong build rather than the wrong spread.

When it is worth doing

Four cases justify the cost. You spread points evenly and qualify for no Specialization. You built for a position your club no longer plays you in. You have found a PlayStyle you want and are short on the attributes gating it. Or the season raised the level cap and you would rather rebuild than bolt new points onto an old plan.

Everything else is usually impatience. A build reads worse on the screen than it plays, and the fix for a bad week is rarely on the build screen at all.

What a reset cannot fix

It cannot change your Key Attributes, because those belong to the Archetype. It cannot change your Signature PlayStyle for the same reason. And it cannot give you points you have not earned, so a build that feels short of everything is usually a build that is short of levels rather than short of planning.

EA has said the level cap rises through the season. If you are near the top of it and still not able to reach what you wanted, waiting is a real option and costs nothing.

Write the numbers down first

Before you reset, note every threshold you are currently meeting. PlayStyles and Specializations are gated on attribute values, so a rebuild that leaves one attribute two points short quietly takes something away that you had.

It is thirty seconds of work and it is the difference between a clean rebuild and an evening spent working out what you lost.

Questions people ask

How do you reset your attributes in FC 27 Clubs?
With an Archetype Reset, which returns all previously spent AP to your wallet. You then redistribute them however you want.
Does resetting cost anything?
It goes through Clubs Coins or a Reset consumable, so it is not free and not unlimited either. Worth knowing before you experiment.
Do you lose your level when you reset?
No. A reset is about where the points sit, not about the progress that earned them.
Should you reset or switch Archetype?
They are different things. A reset moves points inside the Archetype you already levelled. Switching Archetype starts a different one at its own level.
