Is Pro Clubs cross-platform in EA FC 26?
Yes, inside one console generation. EA files every club into one of three pools, and the line runs between old machines and new ones rather than between PlayStation and Xbox.
From EAUpdated 17 August 2026
One for the current consoles and PC, one for the previous generation, one for Switch. A club lives in exactly one of them.
The three pools
Every request for a club, a squad or a match history carries a platform, and EA accepts three values for it. They are not console names. Each one is a matchmaking population, and the population is what decides who you can play with.
| Pool | Who is in it |
|---|---|
| Current generation | PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, together |
| Previous generation | PS4 and Xbox One, together |
| Switch | Nintendo Switch, on its own |
Taken from the platform values EA’s club endpoints accept. Send anything else and the request is refused.
The line is generational, not tribal
Most people expect the wall to sit between PlayStation and Xbox. It does not. A PS5 player and an Xbox Series player are in one pool and can be in one club; a PS5 player and a PS4 player are in different pools and cannot, even though both of them own a PlayStation and bought the same game.
That catches out squads whose members upgraded at different times. If one of you is still on the old console, no setting fixes it — the two of you are in separate populations, and the only way into the same club is the same generation of machine.
When a club search finds nothing
Try the other pool before you retype the name. A search runs inside one population, and a club that is not in it comes back as no result rather than as a near miss, which reads identically to a spelling mistake and sends people off correcting a name that was right.
On this site the pool is part of the address, so a club page is a club in a pool and never a club in general. Switching it is the first thing to try when a team you know exists refuses to appear.
No site can tell you which machine somebody uses
The pool is as fine as EA’s detail goes, and one pool holds three kinds of machine. So a player in the current-generation population might be on a PS5, an Xbox or a PC, and nothing published anywhere separates them. A tracker that prints a console beside a name has decided rather than read.
Clublytics asks which vendor you are only to know what to call your identifier — a PSN Online ID on PlayStation, an EA ID on PC — and to narrow which pools it searches when checking a name. It is your assertion, never proof of anything, and it never becomes part of who the site thinks you are.
What EA has not said
There is no published document mapping every machine onto these three values. The grouping above is the shape of EA’s own club endpoints, read off what they accept and what they return, and it has been stable for as long as this archive has been collecting. A future title could regroup them without telling anybody, and the first sign would be a club search that stopped working.
Questions people ask
- Is Pro Clubs cross-platform in EA FC 26?
- Within a console generation, yes. EA's club endpoints take one of three platform values, and those three are the whole answer: one pool holds PS5, Xbox Series and PC players together, a second holds PS4 and Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch has its own. Everyone inside one pool is in the same population.
- Can a PS5 player and a PS4 player be in the same club?
- No. They sit in different pools, and the split EA made is generational rather than by brand — so a PS5 player shares a pool with an Xbox Series player but not with somebody on the console they owned last year.
- Can PC players join a console Pro Clubs team?
- PC sits in the same pool as PS5 and Xbox Series, so a PC player and a PS5 player can be in one club. That pooling is why the identifier a PC player gives is an EA ID while a PlayStation player gives a PSN Online ID: the pool does not record which of the two you are.
- Why can a tracker not find my Pro Clubs team?
- A club exists in exactly one pool, and a search in the wrong one returns nothing at all rather than a near miss. Pick by generation before you retype the name — the club you cannot find on PS5 is often sitting in the PS4 and Xbox One pool.
- Can a stats site tell which console someone plays on?
- No, and neither can this one. The pool is the finest detail EA publishes, and one pool holds three different machines. Any site telling you a player is on PS5 rather than on PC has guessed, because the data it read cannot say.
