What are the Quick Chat messages in FC 26 Pro Clubs?
Sixteen phrases is the whole vocabulary a drop-in squad gets. Knowing where each one lives is the difference between calling a run and opening a menu.
From EAUpdated 31 August 2026
Four categories of four, on the D-pad. That is the entire vocabulary a drop-in squad shares.
All sixteen, and where each one lives
Press a direction on the D-pad to open a category, then choose a message from the four inside it. EA expanded Quick Chat for FC 26 and gave each category a colour, which is how you tell at a glance whether you are about to praise somebody or shout at them.
| Category | Colour | Messages |
|---|---|---|
| Instructions | Yellow | Keep it simple, Drop back, Passing game, Push up |
| Compliments | Cyan | Golazo, Thanks, Let’s go, What a save |
| Encouragement | Magenta | Lock in, Shake it off, My bad, Unlucky |
| Celebrations | Green | Cold, Joga bonito, GOAT, GG |
Only four of them are actually instructions
Look at what the yellow category holds. Keep it simple, Drop back, Passing game, Push up. Those four are the whole tactical vocabulary EA gives you, and three of the four categories are for how a match feels afterwards.
So the useful habit is learning where yellow sits on the D-pad and nothing else. A message that arrives two seconds after the moment it described is noise, and the other twelve can wait for a stoppage.
You cannot write your own
EA has published nothing about editing the list. Sixteen shipped and sixteen is what everybody has, so a teammate is choosing from the same set you are and cannot say anything you have not already read.
The change this year was structural. EA describes it as four diverse categories with four messages each, added so a set of new messages appears after pressing a D-pad direction. The point of the redesign was depth in a menu, and the menu is still a menu.
The pause icon in Rush
One genuine communication fix landed in Rush. When a player pauses, a pause icon now appears above them, so the rest of the squad can see why nobody is moving.
If the paused player has the ball, you can request a pass and the AI will play it for them. That used to be a dead thirty seconds with the ball stuck under somebody who had walked away from the pad.
Nothing measures this, here or anywhere
EA sends no chat with a match. Not the messages, not a count of them, not who used which one. A player who calls every run and a player silent for ninety minutes arrive in this archive looking exactly alike, and every stat on this site was built from what arrives.
It is worth saying because communication is the thing most Clubs squads believe separates them, and it is invisible to every tracker including this one. The numbers describe what happened on the pitch. They cannot describe how it got organised.
