Can you be in more than one club in EA FC 26?
You can hold three clubs at once in FC 26, and almost nobody does: nine in ten players measured here still play for one. Here is what the second club costs, and the rewards catch that decides which one to make your favourite.
Measured hereUpdated 26 August 2026
New in FC 26. Earlier editions allowed one, so leaving was the only way to play with another group.
How it works
You hold up to three clubs and move between them with the Switch Clubs function in the Clubs menus. Nothing is deleted when you switch, and you do not have to leave one club to play for another.
How many people actually use it
Being allowed three clubs and wanting three are different things. Across 301,855 players in this archive who had played at least ten matches for a club and were still active in the fourteen days to 26 August 2026, nine in ten play for one club and nothing else. The feature everybody asked EA for is used by fewer than one player in ten.
| Active in | Players | Share |
|---|---|---|
| 1 club | 275,230 | 91.2% |
| 2 clubs | 20,458 | 6.8% |
| 3 clubs | 4,356 | 1.4% |
| 4 or more | 1,811 | 0.6% |
The people who do run two clubs are not dabbling in the second one. Their busier club takes a median 65 per cent of their matches, which leaves about a third of their football at the other club — a second home rather than an occasional guest appearance.
Counted from this archive on 26 August 2026 rather than taken from EA. One caution worth stating: 0.6 per cent of the players counted appear for four clubs or more, which EA’s three-club cap says is impossible. Drop-in matches put you in a stranger’s match record the same way a club match does, so some of what is counted here is drop-in football rather than membership. That makes 8.8 per cent a ceiling on how many people hold more than one club, not an exact figure.
The catch nobody mentions
Rush and Playoffs rewards are earned for one club only — the favourite you pick on the Switch Clubs screen. Play a Playoffs run with your second club and the rewards do not follow you. If your group has split across two clubs, agree which one is everybody’s favourite before the season rather than after.
What it does to your stats
EA keeps a member record per club, so three clubs means three separate records rather than one. A player who spreads their week across three sides looks like three thin seasons instead of one full one, which is worth knowing before you judge anybody by a games-played figure this year.

Questions people ask
- Can you be in more than one club in EA FC 26?
- Yes. EA states you can be a member of up to three clubs at any time, and switch between them freely using the Switch Clubs function in the Clubs menus. Previous editions allowed one club at a time.
- Can you be in 2 Pro Clubs teams at the same time?
- Yes, and in three. FC 26 raised the limit from one club to three, and you move between them with Switch Clubs rather than leaving and rejoining. Two is simply under the cap.
- Do you earn rewards at all three clubs?
- No, and this is the part people miss. Clubs Rush and Clubs Playoffs rewards are earned on behalf of a single favourite club, which you pick on the Switch Clubs screen. Games played for the other two do not earn those rewards.
- Does your pro carry over between clubs?
- Your Virtual Pro and its progression belong to you rather than to a club, so switching does not reset your level or your Archetype.
- How many players are actually in more than one club?
- Fewer than one in ten. Across 301,855 players in this archive with at least ten matches for a club and activity in the fourteen days to 26 August 2026, 275,230 played for one club, 20,458 for two and 4,356 for all three EA allows. That is 8.8 per cent using more than one club, and it is a ceiling rather than an exact figure, because a drop-in match puts you in another club’s record without you joining it.
- If I join a second club, will I still play most of my games at the first?
- Usually, but not overwhelmingly. Among players active at exactly two clubs, the busier club takes a median 65 per cent of their matches, leaving about a third at the other. A second club in practice is a second home rather than a place you visit.
- Do your stats split across clubs?
- Yes. EA reports a member record per club, so playing for three clubs means three separate season records rather than one combined one — which is why a player can look thin at every club while having played a lot of football.
